- Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until cooked through and lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
- Make the Caesar Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the ingredients to your preference, adding more lemon juice for tanginess or Parmesan for a cheesier flavor.
- Prepare the Flatbread: Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). If using store-bought dough, let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to make it easier to work with. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion into a thin oval or rectangle, about 8-10 inches in length.
- Assemble the Flatbreads: Brush each flatbread with 2 tablespoons olive oil. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Assemble the Chicken Caesar Flatbreads: Remove the flatbreads from the oven and let them cool slightly. Spread a generous amount of Caesar dressing over each flatbread. Top with chopped romaine lettuce, cooked chicken, and crushed croutons. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese.
- Serve Immediately: Cut each flatbread into slices and serve immediately. Enjoy your homemade Chicken Caesar Flatbread!
Notes
For best results, make the Caesar dressing from scratch. Adjust the dressing ingredients to your preference. Don't overcook the chicken. Slightly crush the croutons to prevent them from becoming soggy. Serve immediately to prevent the flatbread from becoming soggy.
